but why when i receive forwarded emails from aol people...i have to follow a chain of many many people before it opens...even if they are funny i still will not forward them to other people because i don't want them to go through that crap to see it

a picture or something you can still save to your PC and then put back into a new message. A video like an embedded YouTube you should be able to copy

i get emails from aol people and i have to follow a chain until i get to the originator of said message...sometimes i have to click 6 or 7 times just to see message

It is the way bizarre way AOL formats the mail vs whatever you are using to read it.

If you are using a mail client like Outlook it probably takes each time the message was forwarded and puts those addresses into its own attachment so when you get it in Outlook you have to keep opening each attachment until you reach the actual message (If your AOL friends would just send you the message and not hit the forward button this wouldn't happen)

Some browser based mail programs extract the forwarded info, and puts it in the body of the message so you don't have to open a bunch of attachments you just see a bunch of addresses and email headers at the top of the message.

So the best solution is to stop communication with people who use that AOL crap
